Viento - Yorka Feat Gepe & Lido Pimienta

Y vienes convertido en viento,
un frío que detiene el tiempo…

Mourning and farewells that stir, dismantle and build us up again; breezes that are visits and memories that are geographically infinite. "Viento", the third single from Yorka's upcoming album in which the sisters present one of their most important collaborations to date. Successful concerts in Mexico and a great experience acquired in the United States in which the Pastenes sisters decided to pay tribute to the memory of their father with a collaborative bet between prominent names in music and theater. Yorka continues to present what will be her new album, the one in charge of succeeding the applauded "Humo", from 2018. After an enriching tour through the north of the continent, with Yorka, the third single from the upcoming album "Viento "Lutos y despedidas que remueven, desarman y nos vuelven a construir; breezes that are visits and memories that are geographically infinite.

"Viento" was born in the chaos of Santiago Centro, just months after the death of Yorka and Daniela's father. "He always took us for a walk there, so this song is a small tribute to the city he loved so much and to his memory, which comes converted into that wind", explains Yorka about the piece that was gestated after understanding these gusts as a necessary visit from those who are no longer there, our dead.

Produced by Christian Heyne, the single features the vocals of Grammy-winning Colombian singer Lido Pimienta and recent nominee and prominent national singer Gepe. "It's a sad and powerful song, so we wanted to invite more people so that the spell would take greater force. We always thought of Gepe and it was beautiful that he accepted. Lido sent us one of those artistic proposals that gives you chills and he put all the spice that was needed. We love it, because they are both Latin artists who keep the identity of their places in their songs", says Daniela.

The music video for "Viento" maintains the tone of Yorka and Daniela in this new stage, characterized by a high audiovisual production, this time in charge of the actress and director Fernanda Ramirez and the production company Maleza. "The idea was inspired by Tim Burton's "The Big Fish". We wanted to make a different ending to our father's death. That's why this young version of himself appears, taking him to visit for the last time the city he loved so much", explains Yorka about the moving piece starring renowned, and recent winner for Best Supporting Actor at the Platinum Awards -Alfredo Castro-, Santiago Rodríguez ("Historia de un mundial"), Gepe and Lido Pimienta.

A premiere that will be celebrated live and with the public, because Yorka returns to the stage to consolidate the growth and internationalization of its recent years. On Saturday, November 13 they will have two performances at Matucana 100, one at 9:00 pm with tickets sold out in a matter of hours, and a second opportunity for 6:00 pm, whose tickets are available on the venue's website.
