Julieta Venegas’ back with “Mismo Amor”
We are pleased to announce that one of the most important and beloved voices of Spanish-language music of all time is joining the great Altafonte family. Welcome home, Julieta Venegas.
“I’ve been looking forward to sharing another album for a long time, this is a new stage, and I’m happy to have new music ready to go out and play,” says the artist.
The Mexican singer, composer and producer starts her new recording adventure as an independent artist with Altafonte and will offer six concerts in Spain and one in Andorra this coming March. The tour, which will stop in Madrid, Valencia, Seville, San Sebastian, Barcelona and Zaragoza, could not have a more appropriate name: “Vernos de nuevo” (“See each other again”). Check all the dates and get your tickets now!
Julieta Venegas is, without a doubt, one of the most relevant figures of recent Spanish music. With seven studio albums released, the Mexican singer, composer and producer has sold 25 million records worldwide, obtaining gold and platinum certificates in countries such as Mexico, USA, Italy, Argentina, Brazil and Spain. In addition, she has been awarded two Grammy Awards and ten Latin Grammy Awards throughout her extraordinary recording career.
Emblematic songs such as “Me Voy”, “Limón y Sal” or “Andar conmigo” have made her one of the most loved (and recognized) artists on both sides of the Atlantic. In addition, last year she surprised with the release of several collaborations with artists as different as relevant: “Lo siento BB:/” with Taniy and Bad Bunny, “De ti” with the Galician Sen Senra, “17:21” with the Basque group Huntza and “El paraíso” with the Argentinean Nación Ekeko. With more than 17 million monthly listeners on Spotify, her music is more present than ever.
